Microsoft has invented Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus coming soon to business and education users. It looks the same as the Surface Pro 7, down to the ports’ capacity, display, and position, yet there are some noticeable changes on the spec sheet. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus arrived with a completely new processor, more internal storage, LTE, and a bulky battery.

The display size is 12.3-inch Pixel and you will get a single USB-C port + USB-A port + 3.5mm earphone jack, and Surface Connect port. The battery life is just about 15 hours of essential use (the Surface Pro 7 was limited at 10.5 hours)it has a bigger 50.4Wh battery (versus the 7 Pro’s 46.5 Wh one) and the new Intel Core processor make a big difference.

Intel’s eleventh Generation processors power the Surface 7 Pro Plus. The Core i3 (1115G4) model has 8GB RAM + 128GB SSD while the Core i5 (1135G7) model is the only one that comes with an LTE-enabled option. This model runs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE modem – so no 5G. Finally, the last Core i7 (1165G7) model comes with 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD. Wi-Fi models will offer help for a microSDXC card while the LTE model basically replaces the extension opening for a nanoSIM card space.

According to The Verge, Microsoft’s hardware team completely flipped the internals of the Surface Pro 7 to make the SSD part removable. Simultaneously, the TDM (Thermal Design Model) was refreshed, which considered a bigger battery to fit in a similar size of the room. Microsoft team is also trying to update the storage as well.
